Gaile announced something new for the end of the New Year, something never done before. Maybe this year gift will be the XMP, who knows. But the fact that all this content has been removed from the .dat and not yet added seem to point in the opposite direction. Maybe she was refering to the weapons contest winners, that have been introduced recently in our .dat file.

Time will tell.

All I know is, I was reading the Feb. 6 updates, and I saw the word "Xunlai" and almost had a heart attack. Blasted Xunlai Tournaments!

For nearly 3 years i've been waiting for this. Hopefully I don't have to come back in a couple months and say "for OVER 3 years".

I don't see why people think this is so cool... i think its lame. Unless they make it 'auction' based, than it will be the same as hitting [p] than looking in the trades menu and buying pming soemone to buy something -_-

You know if they are in the dat file doesn't mean its coming to game..maybe it was thought of WAYYY back like before factions and was scraped cause it would be too much work. thats what i think, i also think anythinking about it/asking Gaile when is it gonna be here/this thread is pointless

But thats just my $0.02

PS. Don't you think if they were gonna resurrect this "idea" we would have had the slightest of hint by now?

Actualy now would be a perfect time if they wanna have the system nearly perfect by the time GW2 comes out. Anet is usauly kind enough to give us permanent features for the purpose of progress and testing.

But really why do we really need a auction house? To get rid of spam un-click the Check GG no more spam. Its just gonna end up mostly ignored(like the party thing)and spamming gets the job done just as well and you don't have to wait till some Mr.Deep Pockets comes and places the winning bid or something like that, also i for one enjoy spamming for at least 40min a day its like a primal urge i get

You might be reading too much into it, but then again, she would probably just say "There is nothing to this marketplace rumor" if it was the truth.

Whats more interesting is that she doesn't know, no denial or confirm, so therefore there is something possible.

Once u get BAN for several hours because of spamming in AC trying to sell those items that were in ur chest just taking space, and that you hate to merch such a nice item... then u will say... wow i made 100K just by selling items i had and i didint want..................... Ok if you spam you deserve to be banned, and have a midget named Nanci Sparkledust come to your home and headbutt you in the nads.

And to other people commenting on it being just like P... yeah if by you mean ignored and limited by discriptions, function and location. then no it won't be anything like the P search.

Oh and Yeah I think its weird that Gaile didn't confirm or 'yadda yadda'.... I mean this is Gaile, she has openly denied the existence of several things, even when faced with proof and hard evidence (Namely the farming code, atleast 3 different exploits and a list of other leaked information about releases and game elements.)

Well, capitalizing name is just good gramar ... otherwise capital L in Leadership quote would mean that we are getting Leadeship shields.

As noted, gailed deined stuff that clearly existed (polar bear?), claimed that nonexisting stuff exists and misinformed on regular basis ("cute" wording inluded in all those things). Really, she is not source you want to closely examine word by word and look for clues.

It is likely that whoever asked her used spelling from this thread - with capital "M" and that she simply used it. (otherwise your mirror would claim that her correction of capitalization is proof.) Theme here is not getting your hopes too high.

Frog possibly simply made bad timing with his quote. Or maybe they are going to revealuate that title track - which is likely as i have 700 points in it without any serious attempt while my progress in titles comparable that which were in game for ages and which i take with same lax attitude is about 200 points total.
